Ulysses Failey: ok i dont know alot about this but try to connet the optical home theather system on the tv then just connect the the ps3 via hdmi and try it out im sorry if dis didnt help i tried my best :)

Lady Laflin: Try connecting via HDMI like this PS3>Home Theater>HDTV I'm guessing your theater has 1 h! dmi in and another out , Hdmi is a great cable for picture and sound, it can transmit in 5.1 channels so its a good solution
