Sharron Salin: Your application sounds a little light. I just entered a performing arts high school, and a fellow student has done so many performances that he doesn't remember them all and when he has to fill out audition papers, he has to leave most out. You will meet mostly others like him. I have friends who have been taking hardcore acting, singing and dancing camps since they were four. I am on the light side, i have only been in about 12 plays. If it's based on a 4.0 scale, your GPA will be good. Yes, a serious Performing arts school will expect more. they expect to see more community and professional theatre shows then high school ones. Take some acting classes outside of school. Do some community theatre shows. Get some recommendations. Good luck!...Show more
