The am! ount of fluoride in toothpaste is really too small to really do any good but it's better than none at all. Fluoridated water is an effective method to deliver fluoride to large populations but topical treatments in a dental office is by far the best way.There are a few people around that insists fluoride is a poison and there's no way to convince them otherwise. For the rest of us, the number of cavities have plunged and virtually disappeared in many regions of the country. Dentists have felt the pinch by seeing fewer patients with cavities than in the past....answers 3:NO!!!! Never take it in. Its toxic! It goes in your mouth and leaves the mouth.
