Nell Dipiero: An environment like this is unhealthy. Unfortunately cursing itself is not against really anything, now if there is verbal abuse or some discriminatory talk or sexual talk, it becomes a problem and you definitely have reason to bring the issue up. If it's just cursing and it's part of their culture, you wont get far. People talking crap about each other is going to happen, you possibly started there during a period of high stress especially if you're contracted.My suggestion is to focus on your job but if the work environment becomes hostile then you need to either talk to Human Resources or Management. Being a contracted employee doesn't mean you don't have rights and if you feel this way, there is more than likely a full-time employee that feels this way too.If worst comes to worst, talk to your agency or search for another position....Show more
