Buster Buchko: You have a lot of different options on what you can do to live green, based on your interest and budget.-You can prioritize using energy efficient appliances.-You can reduce (or eliminate) meat consumption (which you might of already since you posted it in this section.-You can eat more locally grown foods and less foods from far away (because of the fuel it takes to get foods from afar to your table)-Buy organic food (or organic anything else..)-You can make sure you aren't using toxic cleaning products (baking soda and vinegar are great cleaning solutions), toxic toiletries (avoid toiletries with parabens, dimethicone, petroleum, etc)-Recycle-Buy only what you need, don't waste.-You can drive your car less and use public transit/walk/bike more. (Also, if you drive, use a car that gets good gas mileage)-Drink tap water instead of bottled (plastic disposable water bottles create a lot of waste, leach bad chemicals from the plastic into your water, and send! the message to your local government that you see water as not a basic human right and neccessity but as a commodity for those who can afford the "good stuff"-Don't waste tap water (don't run it while you brush you teeth for example because it does take energy and processing for your local government to clean the water before it gets to your faucet.-Use reuseable dish rags and towels instead of paper towels.-Investigate your options for getting energy from solar or wind or other green sources, maybe even put up a solar panel on your roof!-And of course vote for candidates who prioritize environmental issues! So that is just a small sampling but the possibilities are endless!BTW, you might get even better suggestions if you post this question in the Environment section under "Green Living"Good luck!...Show more
