It's basicly just a scam so the government can try to control us even more then they do already. they're already working on limiting the number of cows suposedly because thier poop gives off too much carbon die oxcide which is absalutely stupid! Denver Colorado had a blizzard twice in two weeks last year. Also glaciers are melting in different parts of the world. I would recommend you watch al gores movie an inconvient truth to see what people are doing to our planet and creating a big weather concern. El Nino and La Nina are only part of the weather concern with weather pattern changes. I would recommend that movie though....Show more

To separate the facts from the fluff:* Global temperatures, as closely as such can be determined, have risen slightly over the past 30 years or so.* Human impact on said changes, if any, is incredibly small. For example, while human use of fossil fuels increased and CO2 levels continued to rise, from about 19! 40 to 1970 global temperatures went down - leading to hysterical predic! tions of a coming ice age (supposedly man made, of course).* Global warming and cooling have been going on as long as the Earth has had climate - and humans weren't around for most of it.* Recent changes in temperature on other planets mirror those on Earth - which would lead the logical person to suppose that people aren't causing it.* Al Gore LIED about the relationship between CO2 and temperature - changes in temperature lead those in CO2, not follow them. In his movie he intentionally separated the CO2 and temperature graphs so that this relationship would not be apparent. In fact the average CO2 level on Earth throughout geologic history is about 2200ppm; and we're panicking over about 375ppm.* There is no reason to think that Gore's prediction of a 3' rise in temperature over the next century is even accurate, much less dangerous.
